The Film

77 Hours is a psychological thriller and political drama following one man's fragmented journey through fear, memory, and survival.

Set against the atmosphere of recent unrest in Iran, the film explores what happens when ordinary lives are pulled into extraordinary violence. Through a tense and intimate narrative, 77 Hours moves between the streets, a hospital, hidden spaces, and broken memories — asking how much of a person can survive when truth itself becomes dangerous.

The film does not offer easy answers. It follows confusion, silence, and the desperate human need to remember.

Synopsis

On a day that begins like any other, a man travels across Tehran for a simple personal reason. But the city is no longer ordinary. Streets fill with fear, movement becomes impossible, and the line between witness and victim disappears.

After being caught in the chaos, he wakes in a sealed, unfamiliar space with no clear memory of how he arrived there. Around him are strangers, each carrying fragments of pain, confusion, and unanswered questions. As time passes, memory returns in pieces: a street, a hospital, a body, a voice, a name.

77 Hours is the story of a man trying to understand where he is, what happened to him, and whether escape is even possible.

Fragments

The street remembers what the city tries to erase.
